To do this, the ex-Fugees singer will appeal that decision. «Tomorrow (Monday, August 23), our lawyers will appeal the CEP’s decision. We meet all the conditions set by the law. And the law must be respected», Wyclef Jean strongly said on Twitter.
Jean is part of the 15 candidates dismissed by the CEP. Then, there will be 19 candidates to run for the succession of President René Préval who is not allowed to run for another term.
